RESERVATION POLICIES

Rental payment

Reservation made prior to 14 days of arrival:

  • Deposit of 1/2 of the reservation total including all taxes and fees is due at time of reservation. 
  • Balance is due by money order or will be charged to credit/debit card up to 5 days prior to arrival.
  • Money order or Certified funds must be received 4 weeks prior to arrival date.
  • Cash is accepted for final payments ONLY if prearranged in advance.
  • No personal checks are taken for final payments.


Reservation made within 14 days of arrival - Full Payment is due at time of reservation.



Minimum Reservation Time Allotment

  • All cabin rentals require a 2-night minimum stay. We do occasionally make exceptions.
  • Some holidays require a 3 or more night minimum stay.
  • Reservations for less than a 4 night stay for certain times of the year may be subject to a release date.


Check In/Check Out

  • Check In 3:00 pm / Check Out 11:00 am 
  • After making your reservation, you will reserve a confirmation email notice that includes the entry code for the cabin. 
  • Your confirmation email will also give you instructions for cold weather tips, tips about the fireplaces, air conditioner, etc. Please read it carefully.
  • Please insure auto lock is enabled on the main entry door and all other doors are locked. Please text 706-892-9429 upon departure 
  • Receipts are emailed..
  • You must have prior approval to check in early or check out late. These times are strictly enforced unless given prior approval. Our cleaning and maintenance staff need this time to tend to the cabins prior to the 3:00 incoming check-in . So if you send the cleaning crew away and check out after 11:00 am without prior approval from the reservations department, you may be subject to a half-day fee on your credit card. If you have not checked out by 2:00 pm without permission, you may be subject to a full day additional charge added to your credit card.


Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds (NO EXCEPTIONS)

  • ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING OR VIA EMAIL
  • Please notify our office staff immediately of any changes that you need to make to your reservation
  • All cancellations made within 14 days or less of the arrival date will forfeit the deposit.
  • All cancellations made prior to 14 days or more of the arrival date will receive a refund of the deposit less a $50 cancellation fee.
  • All reservation reschedules MUST be received prior to 10 days of arrival to be allowed to reschedule.
  • There will be a $25 service fee added to all reschedules.
  • Call or email our office to reschedule a reservation. All deposit monies received at the time of your original reservation minus the $25 service fee will be applied to the new reservation.
  • All reschedules must be used within 3 months of the original reservation date and are no longer applicable for cancellation or refund.
  • There are NO refunds given for early departures or NO SHOWS.
  • There are NO refunds or discounts given for events of appliance or mechanical failures or other legitimate problems that may arise unless management was first notified and given ample opportunity to correct the problem.  Management reserves the right to move you to another unit if available. Please note that normal beds and sofa beds may not be as comfortable as your home and will not be grounds for a discount.
  • No refunds are given for cancellations that occur due to bad weather.
  • If the credit card is denied when the deposit is run, the full cost of the rental is required within 24 hours to hold the reservation.
