Rental Policies

No Smoking

• All of our cabins are OUTSIDE SMOKING ONLY!
• If you violate the No Inside Smoking Policy, a $250 penalty & deep cleaning fee will be added to your credit card.

No Animals 

• We do not allow any animals in any of the cabins. If you have an animal, you will be asked to leave immediately without any refund for unused days. Your credit card will automatically be charged an additional $250 penalty and deep cleaning fee and plus the cost of any damage caused by your animal.

General Rules

•  You must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid credit or debit card to rent a cabin.
• The number and age category of all guests must be supplied at the time of the reservation.  Additional guests not identified at the time of the reservation and not given approval by management prior to arrival may result in additional fees being applied to rental or a demand to leave to premises with forfeit of all monies paid.
• No fighting or disruptive behavior.
• No loud music or noise after 10:30 pm.
• Be courteous to neighbors.
• Park only in your designated area at your assigned cabin.
• No Fireworks
• No illegal activities or drugs allowed on property.

Additional Rules

Wood Burning Fireplaces

• All cabins have wood-burning fireplaces for your enjoyment.
• We ask that fireplaces NOT be used between May 1st and Oct 1st.
• Do not add firewood to fire after midnight the night before your departure to allow for fire to burn out and cool down for cleanout for next rental.
• Do not build fire and operate air conditioner at the same time.
• Firewood is not provided at the cabins but the appropriate size logs may be purchased at local convenience stores or purchased or at the Southern Legacy Wood Products location at 1605 Helen Hwy about 1/2 mile from our entrance at Cabin Creek Dr.
• Please do not build any outside campfires unless in a designated area.

Barbeque Grills

• All cabins are furnished with charcoal BBQ grills.
• Charcoal is not supplied.
• The renter is responsible for cleaning the grill before departure.

Furnishings

• All properties are privately owned.
• When you arrive at the rental property, it will be clean, equipped, and ready for your arrival.
• Towels and linens are furnished in all cabins.
• If any linens are missing or damaged, you will be billed accordingly.
• Kitchens are fully equipped with pots, pans, silverware, and dishes.
• Cabins have a starter supply of paper products including tissue, paper towels, and hand soap. If you stay longer, you will need to provide your own.
• Please do not move furniture and DO NOT take inside furniture outside.

Fishing

• Fishing at the cabins is fly-fishing only. Please note that all fishing is fly fishing- catch and release only!
• All fishing at the cabins is catch and release for the enjoyment of all present and future guests. There are other fishing areas around Helen if you would like to keep your fish.
• All fishermen are required to have a valid Georgia fishing license with a trout stamp. 
• Barbless hooks must be used for fishing at the cabins.
• Any violations of the above rules could result in eviction without any refund for unused days.

Wildlife 

• Please do not kill, trap, feed or approach any wildlife outside the cabins

Cleaning Fees and Taxes

• A one-time cleaning fee, $5 nightly Georgia hotel fee and 15% Hotel/Motel/Sales Taxes will be added to all reservations.

Cleaning Requirements

• Dishes are to be loaded into the dishwasher and started.
• All food must be removed from the refrigerator and cabinets.
• All garbage must be put in garbage cans and not left scattered around the cabin.
• Furniture must be placed in its original location.
• There must be no missing or damaged linens.
• Please leave used beds unmade so the dirty linens may be stripped by the cleaning crew.
• Place all used towels and washcloths into the bathtub. Do not place bed coverings in the bathtub.
• If additional cleaning is required, appropriate charges will be deducted from your credit card.
• Guests are responsible for any damages, abuse, excessive cleanup requirements, or loss caused by any member of a party to the property or its contents during the guest’s occupancy.

• Any money received by Cabin On The Creek for occupancy of vacation property indicated the acceptance of the terms of our Rental and Reservation policies in full.  All policies are strictly enforced. It is the responsibility of all guests (and members of their party) to be familiar with all policies. When making a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our policies.
